His leadership encompasses project management, financial oversight, client relations, employee development, regulatory compliance, and efforts to strengthen the company’s capabilities.
Paulin Modi focuses on setting long-term goals and identifying opportunities to expand into new markets. He oversees budgets and financial forecasts, manages cash flow and business risks, and works to maintain the company’s profitability. His role also involves developing relationships with clients and partners, supporting marketing and networking initiatives, and resolving significant client or project issues.
As president, Paulin Modi monitors engineering projects to help ensure they meet deadlines, budgets, and quality expectations. He oversees operational procedures and compliance with applicable building codes, environmental regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols. Moreover, he stays current on emerging engineering technologies and industry developments to help SM Engineers remain competitive.
A Rochester Hills, Michigan, resident, Paulin Modi volunteers at his temple and participates in the LRPC. In his free time, he plays recreational tennis and travels internationally with his family, visiting destinations across Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Caribbean.
